A local man is facing a misdemeanor charge following a theft complaint earlier this week.
Police say 53-year-old Shane Yack of Seneca Falls was arrested on Wednesday after officers responded to a reported larceny. Following an investigation, Yack was charged with one count of petit larceny.
Yack was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
