A local man is facing multiple felony drug charges after an investigation by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Timothy Thompson says investigators arrested 29-year-old Eugene Peek of Seneca Falls on Monday following a narcotics investigation. Peek is accused of selling crack cocaine from his home, where deputies say a child under the age of one was also living.

During the investigation, a search warrant was executed at Peek’s residence, where deputies say they found a quantity of crack cocaine.

Peek is charged with three counts each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, along with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child.

He was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and released on his own recognizance.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
