A Seneca Falls man was arrested Thursday on two outstanding bench warrants.

Charles Smith’s warrants stem from his alleged failure to appear in court. The 47-year-old was arrested by Seneca Falls Police at the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center.

Smith was being held at the Center to await arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
