Seneca Falls Man Arrested on Felony DWI Charge

The report of a man passed out at the wheel of his car Friday night resulted in the arrest of a Seneca Falls man.

During an investigation, it was determined Arthur Smith had been driving his car while intoxicated. Smith was charged with felony DWI due to having a prior DWI conviction within the last decade.

The 58-year-old Smith was brought to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
