Police arrested a Seneca Falls man on Wednesday following the report of an alleged Order of Protection violation.

Stephen Kennedy is accused of being at a residence with a protected party of a court-ordered Order of Protection and remaining unlawfully on the property.

The 35-year-old was charged with criminal contempt and aggravated family offense, both felonies.

Kennedy was sent to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
