Seneca Falls Man Arrested on Criminal Contempt Charge

The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department reports that a Seneca Falls man was arrested early Thursday morning on a criminal contempt charge.

Police say 22-year-old Joseph Donson was taken into custody and charged with one count of second-degree criminal contempt, a Class A misdemeanor. Donson was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he was held pending arraignment.

An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
