A traffic stop in the town of Tyre resulted in the arrest of a Seneca Falls man on two bench warrants.

Asa Poormon is accused of failing to appear in court on January 10th for the original charges of petit larceny. Additionally, Poormon was also arrested following an incident in which he allegedly forced entry into a residence, and stole property and a car without the owner’s permission. Following that arrest, Poormon was charged with felony burglary, and misdemeanor counts of petit larceny, criminal mischief, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Poormon was brought to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.

State Police and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office assisted Seneca Falls Police with the arrest.
