The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of John Figueroa on an outstanding bench warrant.
Police say Figueroa was taken into custody on October 17. The warrant was issued after he failed to appear in Town Court on an original charge of a sex offender violation.
Figueroa was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he is awaiting arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
