The investigation into a car reported stolen in Geneva back in December resulted in the arrest of a Seneca Falls man on Tuesday.

Seneca Falls Police found the car abandoned in the parking lot of a business in Seneca Falls. Police allege Patrick Cronan possessed, drove, and left the stolen car in the parking lot. The 61-year-old was charged with felony possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

The car has since been returned to its owner.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
