Scottsville Man Arrested on DWI Charge in Wayne County

A Scottsville man was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office following a traffic stop early Sunday morning on State Route 104.

Upon further investigation, deputies spotted an open container of Bud Light on the passenger floorboard of the car 58-year-old Rodney Spickerman was driving. It is alleged that Spickerman was impaired while driving following his participation in field sobriety tests.

Spickerman was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired and driving with an open container.

Spickerman was released on an appearance ticket for Huron Town Court.
