One Schuyler County town supervisor is facing a felony charge after being involved in a car accident Thursday night.
The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office charged Justin Boyette with felony DWI after responding to a car in a ditch on State Route 414 in Hector. The Hector Town Supervisor’s charge was upgraded to a felony due to a prior DWI conviction within the last ten years.
Boyette took over as town supervisor in February of 2022 following the death of Alvin White. He was elected to the position in November of that year
