New York State Police in Montour Falls have charged a Burdett man following a burglary at a Dix residence in March 2023.
Authorities say the suspect, 59-year-old Jeffrey Arcangeli, forcibly opened a safe and stole multiple firearms along with approximately $450,000 in gold, silver, and U.S. currency.
Arcangeli faces felony second-degree burglary and grand larceny charges. He has been arraigned in Dix Town Court.
The investigation remains active.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
