Charges have been filed against a Wayne County man following the investigation into a property damage accident that happened back on January 13th.
27-year-old Jonathan Byroads, of Savannah, is accused of driving a car on Number 39 Road in the town of Savannah while impaired by drugs. Blood was drawn at the scene by paramedics and sent out to the lab for testing. According to the sheriff’s office, the blood results from Byroads came back positive for both fentanyl and cocaine.
Byroads was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and an unsafe lane change and will appear in Savannah Town Court at a later date.
