A Rushville man was ticketed following the investigation into a two-car accident in the village of Rushville.
97-year-old Earl Gorton was attempting to make a U-turn from a parking spot on South Main Street when he was struck by a car driven by 69-year-old Robert Yerkes, of Penn Yan.
Gorton was treated on scene by Middlesex Ambulance and was ticketed for moving from lane unsafely.
Yerkes was not injured.
The Rushville and Middlesex Fire Departments assisted the Yates County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
