Romulus Resident Accused of Violating Order of Protection

A Romulus resident was arrested by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office on a criminal contempt charge.

The arrest of Casey Scharett stems from an incident where it is alleged that the 35-year-old was found to be violating a Class A Order of Protection by failing to stay away from the protected party.

Scharett was transported to the Seneca County Jail to be arraigned on the charge
