A Rochester woman is facing charges after Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies say she stole merchandise and resisted arrest at the Target store on Commons Boulevard.

Tamara Clark was arrested last Friday, and was charged with Petit Larceny and Resisting Arrest.

According to deputies, Clark allegedly attempted to leave the store with $452.59 worth of stolen merchandise. When deputies tried to take her into custody, she reportedly refused to comply, leading to a brief struggle.

Clark was eventually taken into custody and released with an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.
