Rochester Woman Arrested for Failure to Appear in Seneca Falls

Police Blotter

On Thursday, Jenelle Rivera, 46, of Rochester, was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court regarding the original charges.

The warrant was issued following an incident where Rivera allegedly failed to appear for a scheduled court date related to a previous arrest for Petit Larceny.

Rivera was taken into custody and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await centralized arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
