Rochester Man Arrested on Four Felony Charges in Ontario County

A Rochester man was arrested by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office Monday on multiple felony charges.

Maurice Brown is accused of stealing a purse and its contents belonging to a patron of Target and then using credit and debit cards found in the purse to purchase $631.95 worth of merchandise from a number of retail stores in the area.

Brown was charged with three counts of grand larceny and a single count of tampering with physical evidence, all felonies.

Brown was released on an appearance ticket for Victor Town Court.
