A Canandaigua woman has been arrested on an assault charge after she allegedly stabbed another person with scissors.
According to police, 37-year-old Crystal Belcher stabbed the other person during a disturbance at a Saltonstall Street residence on Sunday afternoon. Belcher was brought to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
Police say the victim did suffer an undisclosed injury.
