Penn Yan Police arrested a 16-year-old adolescent offender for Sexual Misconduct and Endangering the Welfare of a Child following an incident that occurred in the Village of Penn Yan earlier this month.
The adolescent offender allegedly engaged in sexual activity with a 13-year-old.
The adolescent was issued an appearance ticket to respond to Yates County Probation at a later date to answer the charge.
