Two people were taken into custody after Ithaca Police say they observed the duo involved in a drug sale in the 400 block of West State Street during the noon hour on Tuesday.
30-year-old Devon Jenkins was allegedly found to have 27 glassine envelopes of suspected fentanyl and six knotted baggies of suspected heroin. Jenkins was charged with two felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and a single felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was jailed without bail.
35-year-old Justin Rose was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession and was released on an appearance ticket.
