The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says a Phelps woman has been arrested on a probation violation.
Deputies report 37-year-old Grace Terry was taken into custody by the Sheriff’s Warrant Unit on Wednesday on a warrant issued out of Geneva City Court. She was transported to the Ontario County Jail and held for arraignment.
Terry is scheduled to return to Geneva City Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
