The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 31-year-old Phelps man.

Through an investigation, it was determined that Brian Gunsalus allegedly made phone calls to a protected party listed in an Order of Protection.

Gunsalus was located and taken into custody for allegedly violating the Order of Protection and charged with criminal contempt.

Gunsalus was transported to the Ontario County Jail to appear at CAP

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
