A Penn Yan woman faces a number of charges after police allege she struck another person with a frying pan multiple times Wednesday night.

Samantha Sprague is also accused of attacking the victim and police said they witnessed the 28-year-old attempt to kick the victim in the head during their investigation. When Sprague was taken to the village police department for processing, she was allowed to place a phone call to a relative. Instead, it’s alleged she called the victim from the earlier incident and threatened them to drop all charges against her.

Sprague was charged with intimidating a victim, menacing, and two counts of harassment.
