A Penn Yan woman was ticketed following a traffic stop in the Yates County village.
A traffic stop was initiated on Maple Avenue after Nicole Nesbitt’s vehicle was found to have a violation of New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law. A license plate check of the car also revealed the registration was suspended last November for an insurance lapse.
Nesbitt was released on an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court.
