Penn Yan Police ticketed Shawna Orr, of Penn Yan, for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree following a traffic stop on Main Street.
A check with the DMV revealed that Orr’s New York State driver’s license had been suspended for failure to respond to a summons out of the Town of Urbana.
Orr was issued a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
