A Penn Yan woman has been charged with criminal contempt following the investigation into a complaint in the village.
Police say Carlie Vega called them while she was at an apartment in the village where she was requesting the occupant return property to her. When police arrived, they discovered Vega had allegedly violated a stay-away order of protection.
The 19-year-old was arrested and released on an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court
