A Penn Yan man was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop in the Yates County village.
Police received a tip that 38-year-old Benjamin McMinn was driving a car in the village while allegedly having a revoked license. Police were able to locate McMinn and a check of his license revealed it was suspended.
McMinn was also charged with operating out of ignition interlock and will appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
