A Penn Yan man was arrested Tuesday night for taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of 32-year-old James Barkley just after 9 o’clock on the charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.
He was subsequently taken to Yates County Jail to await arraignment.
