A physical domestic incident resulted in the arrest of a 29-year-old Penn Yan man.
Nathaniel Snyder is accused of breaking a door at a residence in the village of Penn Yan and physically restraining the victim from leaving the home. The 29-year-old Snyder was located in the afternoon of the incident and was taken into custody.
Snyder was charged with criminal mischief, harassment, and unlawful imprisonment. He was processed at the Penn Yan Police Department and held at the Yates County Jail to await CAP on the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
