A traffic stop in the village of Penn Yan resulted in the arrest of a Penn Yan man.
Russell Aliff was spotted driving on Liberty Street while allegedly having an expired inspection sticker. During the traffic stop, a check of Aliff’s driving privileges showed he had a revoked license and an interlock device restriction. An examination of the car revealed Aliff did not have an interlock device installed.
Aliff was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating without an interlock device and other vehicle and traffic violations.
Aliff will appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
