Penn Yan Man Arrested Following Domestic Dispute

A domestic incident that happened in the town of Potter resulted in the arrest of a 27-year-old Penn Yan man.

It is alleged that Jacob Thornton subjected another person to unwanted physical contact in the presence of a child. During the dispute, Thorton also allegedly damaged property that did not belong to him.

Thornton was charged with criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing, harassment, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Following his arraignment, Thornton was sent to Yates County Jail to await CAP Court
