The investigation into the report of a sick or intoxicated driver in the parking lot of a convenience store in Victor resulted in an arrest.

After arriving on the scene, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports its deputies observed multiple white packages in the car with a brown substance that tested positive for heroin. 39-year-old Sandra Pearsall was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Following arraignment, Pearsall was released on an appearance ticket for Victor Town Court.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
