The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Town of Palmyra man following a disturbance last month.
Deputies say 27-year-old Colby Sears was arrested in connection with an incident that occurred on November 27 at the Bridge Pub in the Town of Palmyra. Authorities allege that Sears assaulted a victim during the disturbance, causing injuries.
Sears was charged with third-degree assault. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Palmyra Town Court at a later date for further proceedings.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
