An Ovid man was arrested Sunday on charges of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal mischief, and criminal contempt.

The arrest of Mark Belliveau stems from the report of a domestic incident in Ovid. It is alleged that Belliveau was unlawfully at a home with the victim while an Order of Protection was in place. It is also alleged that the 37-year-old damaged a door to the home and possessed an illegal weapon.

Belliveau was brought to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await CAP arraignment.
