An inmate at the Ontario County Jail has been charged with assault following the investigation into an incident that occurred on May 10th.
35-year-old Pedro Diaz-Figuerora, of Geneva, is accused of punching another inmate in the head with a closed fist resulting in an injury to the victim.
Following his arraignment, Diaz-Figuerora was sent back to Ontario County Jail and will answer the charge in Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
