A Newark man was arrested Monday on a harassment charge.
63-year-old Randall Giles is accused of punching his daughter in the face during a family trouble.
Giles was brought to Wayne County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
