The Yates County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Naples woman on two counts of falsely reporting an incident.
On January 3rd and January 8th, Laura Dicampli allegedly called 9-1-1 numerous times reporting she needed emergency assistance at her Italy Valley Road home. Further investigation by deputies revealed there was no actual emergency taking place.
Dicampli was released on two appearance tickets for Italy Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
