Motorcyclist Injured Following Wayne County Accident

The operator of a motorcycle was ticketed by police following their investigation into an accident that happened Friday afternoon in Arcadia.

39-year-old Adam Purdy, of Galen, was reportedly traveling north on Lembke Road at a high rate of speed causing him to lose control of his motorcycle, which went off the road and crashed into a ditch. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Purdy was ticketed for vehicle and traffic violations.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on the scene by the Fairville Fire Department and Finger Lakes Ambulance.
