A motorcyclist involved in an accident last Friday night in Ontario County was charged with DWI.
When police arrived on the scene in the town of East Bloomfield, they found a blue Harley Davidson on the east side of Stetson Road that had been involved in an accident. The driver, 62-year-old Gary Johnson, of Canandaigua, was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital by LifeNet to receive treatment for his injuries.
In addition to DWI, Johnson was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and was released on appearance tickets.
Johnson will answer the charges in East Bloomfield Town Court at a later date.
