A traffic stop in the town of Tyre resulted in the arrest of a 55-year-old Moravia man.
The arrest of Bernard Collier stems from an incident where it is alleged he committed several traffic violations prior to deputies pulling his car over. Collier was charged with misdemeanor DWI, along with several other vehicle and traffic violations.
Collier was released from custody on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at the Town of Tyre Court on October 9th
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
