A Middlesex man was charged with driving while intoxicated Saturday in Ontario County.
James Rowe’s arrest stems from a traffic stop investigation conducted by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on County Road 11 in the town of Gorham. During the investigation, it was determined the 26-year-old was driving the car while in an intoxicated condition. He was taken to the Ontario County Jail for a breath sample. The chemical analysis of his blood revealed a blood alcohol content of .18%, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
Rowe will appear in Gorham Town Court at a future date to answer charges of driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and speeding.
Rowe was released to a sober third party.
