Marion Teen Arrested for Spray-Painting Building

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Marion man following an investigation into a criminal mischief complaint.

Deputies say 19-year-old Alan Anderson is accused of spray-painting the walls of a North Main Street building, covering more than 135 feet of space. The damage is estimated at about $800.

Anderson was charged with fourth-degree Criminal Mischief. He was processed at the Sheriff’s Office and released with an appearance ticket.

He is scheduled to appear in Marion Town Court on September 24.
