Marion Man Arrested Following Assault Investigation

A Marion man was arrested Monday by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office following an assault investigation.

34-year-old Damian Tatchell was charged with assault and harassment after he allegedly caused serious physical injury to another person during a dispute.

Tatchell was brought to the Wayne County Jail to await arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
