Police have arrested a Manchester man on a bench warrant issued out of Canandaigua City Court.

The warrant was issued for Robert Wright after he allegedly failed to appear in Canandaigua City Court to answer his charge on a previous arrest for petit larceny.

Wright was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment following his arrest.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
