An arrest has been made for a shooting that occurred in the city of Ithaca two months ago.
Robert Brewer, of Ithaca, was taken into custody for the February 4th shooting at Cayuga Garden Apartments in the 100 block of Chestnut Street. The 31-year-old was taken into custody after being spotted driving Sunday in the 300 block of Elmira Road. Brewer was charged with burglary, criminal possession of a weapon, and assault, all felonies.
Following his arraignment, Brewer was sent to Tompkins County Jail in lieu of bail.
