A joint investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and the county’s Department of Social Services resulted in the arrest of a 64-year-old Lyons man.
The arrest of Arthur Aldrich stems from an investigation into a fraud complaint where it is alleged that Aldrich, who was a recipient of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits, allowed two people to use his benefits card in the amount of $399.42, which violates the agreement.
Aldrich was charged with petit larceny and misuse of food stamps and was released on an appearance ticket.
