The investigation into an early morning domestic incident in the town of Lyons resulted in the arrest of a Lyons man.
It is alleged by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office that Christopher Sergeant intentionally placed his hands on the female victim’s throat and applied pressure thereby obstructing her normal breathing. He’s also accused of breaking a television set.
Sergeant was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal mischief and was released to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
