K9 Digit Helps in Schuyler County Traffic Stop That Nets Two Arrests

With the assistance of Deputy K9 Digit, a traffic stop on Route 14 in the town of Montour led to the arrest of two people.

The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office charged 33-year-old Nancy Cowl, of Horseheads, with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Following her arraignment, Cowl was turned over to the Elmira Heights Police Department where she was wanted on an active warrant.

51-year-old Eric Storm of Elmira was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and was sent to Schuyler County Jail without bail.
