An Ithaca woman is facing drug charges in Schuyler County.
47-year-old Christina Hooton was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop that was conducted by the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office on State Route 228 in the town of Hector.
Hooton was released on an appearance ticket for Hector Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
